Tony Clarke has supported families through bereavement for over 35 years. He began his career as a funeral operative and worked his way up through the profession to become a respected Funeral Director, later qualifying as a trained embalmer, will writer, and gaining qualifications in law.
In 2012, Tony was named Businessman of the Year by Sun FM, recognising his dedication to the Sunderland community and the compassionate care he provides.
Earlier in his career, Tony was also involved in regional funeral profession work in the North East, including secretary responsibilities connected with professional standards and good practice within the sector.
Known for his calm and dignified approach, Tony has helped guide many families through some of life’s most difficult moments. His experience covers all aspects of funeral care, including personal care of the deceased, funeral arrangements, chapel visits, family support, legal matters and aftercare guidance.
